Join us for an afternoon of conversation with Iraqi Americans and veterans of the Iraq war and their view of the bald eagle egg as a symbol of new beginnings and how an American pastime, football, has brought them together. This relationship transcends species, speaking to our shared experiences of loyalty, companionship, and love. Through a diverse range of mediums, each artist brings their unique vision to life, offering a multifaceted look at our national bird and symbol of freedom. We’ll hear from Iraqi Americans and veterans of the Iraqi war and their view of the egg as a symbol of new beginnings and how an American pastime has brought them together.
