Helium Presents: Ha Ha for Homes

Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP) provides free legal services to Philadelphians experiencing or facing homelessness. In 2024, HAP helped almost 3,000 people. In its 35th year, HAP is excited to hold its first comedy benefit show at Helium Comedy Club, where a portion of ticket sales will go toward a cause that’s more important now than ever. The evening will also have a 50/50 raffle, where 50% of proceeds raised go toward HAP, and the other 50% to one lucky winner! The comedy benefit show will be hosted by HAP Director of Development and Communications, as well as emerging stand up comedian, Shevaun Brannigan. Performances will include prominent Philadelphia comedians London Duran, Ebony Moore, Rasheed Wesley Jr., Jim Gillespie, and Manny Brown. The evening will be headlined by TaTa Sherise, whowas featured on The Drew Barrymore Show and Mastery of Comedy during the pandemic. TaTa also has created several viral videos, has been featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer, won competitions, and awards. She’s one half of “Girls Got Giggles” band “Zebra Cakes” podcast that also produces comedy shows, short films, and sketches. Her style is energetic, raw, and she captivates audiences easily with her charm, relatable stories, and movement on stage.She is also the winner of the 2024 Philly’s PhunniestContest! Management reserves the right to prevent customers from entering the facility who they deem disruptive or dangerous to other patrons.
