Join us for an afternoon of fun & learning at the museum, for a free tour of our gallery spaces!
This 30 minute tour is a great introduction to our museum’s rich history of evolving the world of Wood Art. The tour covers our current exhibition, Fruition – the exciting whirlwind of a 2-month Residency program where artists lived together and created a body of work. We’ll also be exploring our permanent collection, which hosts over one thousand wooden sculptures. We’ll take a look at the quirky, the thought-provoking, and often inspiring world of wood.
This event is free to the public. The Museum for Art in Wood interprets, nurtures, and champions creative engagement and expansion of art, craft, and design in wood to enhance the public’s understanding and appreciation of it. A suggested donation of $5 per person enables us to provide programs and exhibitions throughout the year.
