Join us as we celebrate the opening of our latest Central Library Gallery Exhibit Roots Unveiled: Exploring the Chinese Experience . About the Exhibit An interdisciplinary project that combines traditional visual art with modern video storytelling to explore the Chinese American experience living in Texas. In addition to the curated still life compositions, Michael Wei, a prominent vlog artist, creates a compelling video series of Austin’s ten legendary Chinese Americans. This series will focus on the narratives of Chinese Texas immigrants since the 1800s, providing a dynamic timeline and multimedia perspective on their journey and contributions.
